All Bask pieces are produced made-to-order or in small runs in Sydney. This allows us to stay receptive to demand and avoid dead stock. Each step of our process, from the pattern making though to production uses materials as economically as possible (with offcuts lending themselves to smaller accessories). We use natural fibres with a low environmental footprint: Lithuanian linen and a small amount of organic cotton, to minimise our impact from the cultivation stage.
The development of "Bask Capsule" encourages thoughtful clothing consumption. By designing considered, timeless pieces we're moving towards a smaller, higher quality and well loved wardrobe.
We still have a way to go though are taking steps in the right direction. Please do not hesitate to get in contact at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any comments or suggestions on our sustainability approach.
